Tonight at Track and Field...Parker was instructed by both the Female and Male CO State Pole Vault record holders. The kids, of course, knew no difference and had a great time. Here are some pics.
He also ran a mile (he prefers to call it "four times around"). His time: 12min, 06 sec. ;) I don't think I could comprehend what a mile was until Jr. High. He is proud to say the least.

Wow, I don't know if I could run a mile now in 12 minutes. Very impressive Parker. Nice form on the pole vault too.

Very good, Parker! I always wanted to pole vault. It looks like so much fun! I think every kid tries to with a broom stick. Now Parker is professionally trained for it!
